Just wanted to share some fabulous news. Tracey from The Stamping Boutique is having her images made in clear stamps through a collaboration with Joday at Treasured Times Rubber stamps. Design Team Call

 We are looking for fun and enthusiastic team members who enjoy working with others. We are creating two teams one for our TSB Challenge Blog and another to enter various Challenge Blogs .

Basic Requirements for both teams

• Have an active blog 
• No experience required
• Ability to work with digi stamps 
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Participate in occasional blog hops and on line parties 

TSB Challenge Blog Team Expectations

• 3 projects per month
• One project for each challenge (which are held on the 1st and 15th of each month) 
• One project for social media outlets – Facebook, Pinterest, etc… 
• Commenting on entries to the TSB Challenge Blog
• Helping choose the Challenge Winners and Top 3 on the TSB Challenge Blog

A New Journey Begins

Sorry for the double posts in one day. I started this last week and never to back to it. 

Just a quick update on my life! I took a year leave of absence from teaching to give my time and full focus on my family. God has been calling me to do this for about 8 years and I am finally being obedient!! I cannot begin to tell you the many blessings I have already experienced!!! 

Now that I have more time (during the time my girls are at school), I have decided to start a new faithbook. In the past my faithbook was all about recording different aspects of my faith. This time my focus is growing and strengthening my relationship with The Lord. I am really excited about this journey. I will be sharing my journey here as well!! 

I have decided to use the SN@P 6x8 album. I like the flexibility in LO types I can create!! Here is my first LO about why I am doing this faithbook!

This week I am working on creating a title page for my new book. I hope you'll stop by and check it out!!

I also want to remind you that The Stamping Boutique is have a reopening party THIS SATURDAY!!

"Prayers for a Woman's Soul" Bible Study Week 2 Reflection

I started an on line Bible study of the book Prayers for a Woman's Soul led by the author, Julie Giles.

This week the focus is attitude!! I know this is definitely a struggle for me. There were multiple areas of attitude that she spoke of that I find in my own attitude. Today I am focusing on how often I get caught up in comparing myself to others. It usually leads to one of 2 things - feeling like a failure or criticizing the other person so I can feel superior. Neither of these reactions reflect the attitude of humility God calls me to have.

Their is a wonderful list of verses at the end of the chapter. Today, I felt the need to reflect on

Philippians 2:5 - "Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. 

I liked the Life Application Bible notes on this verse. They reminded me of several aspects of Christ's attitude 

    - "Jesus was humble"

    - "Like Christ we should have a servant's attitude, serving others out of love for God and others..."

    - "Remember, you can choose your attitude."

That last note hit hard. There are so many times I let circumstances or other people's attitudes determine. I have become a very reactive person. This week I want to really focus on choosing my attitude and having it be a reflection of Christ's humility. I know with the guidance of the Holy Spirit this change will be made!!
