GHWI Challenge #23 Still Happening...

Welcome to a new week!!! Today I have a little inspiration to share for the GHWI Challenge #23 - Christmas in July with a Tag. We are only half way through the month so there is still lots of time for you to play along in the challenge.  Remember all you have to do is create a project, card, ATC any piece of art with a Christmas theme and has a tag!!

I decided to get a jump on my Christmas gifts and created a little box this week.I wanted it to be simple since I usually end up making 20-30 of these types of gifts for my co-workers. I cut the box using my Cameo which of course I LOVE!!! I have such a hard time when I'm crafting somewhere besides my craft room and I can't take it with me.

I used 2 sets in the creation of this little gift - Warm Wishes and Gingham Christmas Greetings!!

As you can see below the snowflakes with I heat embossed in silver came from the Warm Wishes set that can be found here.

Then I used the Gingham Christmas Greetings for my little tag which you can find here.

Remember these sets can be found on Aletha's sales blog or through Unity but be sure to choose to Aletha as your Ippity Chick!!

I also wanted to invite you to join The GHWI Customer blog hop on August 10-12. We are going to be celebrating Aletha as our awesome Ippity chick!!! The requirements are as follows -

1. To create a project using your favorite {ippity} stamp set. You only need to create one project for the hop.
2. Have it posted on your blog by Friday August 10th at 8AM EST
3. Include information about and a link to Aletha’s {ippity} sales blog

And if you can't be part of the hop, we sure hope you'll do some hopping along the trail. There will prizes to win along the trail.

Sign ups will close by Friday August 3rd.  If you are interested in joining the fun then please email me (Melissa Czapor) with GHWI August Blog Hop in the subject line. My email ismelissac1966@gmail.com

As always remember if you haven't joined the Facebook group and GHWI group at The Crafter's Cafe, you are missing lots more inspiration!!

I'd also like to enter this project in the following challenges -
One Stitch at A Time - Anything Goes
Robyn's Fetish - Christmas in July
That Craft Place - Anything Goes

As always I am so grateful that you stopped by today!! I hope you have a fabulous week!!

Blessings and Hugs,
Melissa

TIme for a new challenge at Get Hippity With Ippity...

The monthly challenge for July starts today at the Get Hippity with Ippity Blog!! We are on Challenge #23 and this one is to make a Christmas project that includes a tag.  You can create anything from a card to an ATC to a Scrapbook LO. Whatever is your style works great as long as it is Christmas themed and includes a tag.

Here's the card I made for a little inspiration

I used one of my favorite Christmas Sets - Gingham Christmas Greetings

The papers are all from one of the first kits I ever purchased from Taylored Expressions which happened to be a Christmas Kit.  And now, I am a monthly Key Ingredients subscriber!! :-) The inks are all from Close To My Heart and the tag I made myself.

If you are looking for an Ippity Chick please head over to Aletha's sales blog. She has awesome customer service. If you are ordering from the Unity site and plan on adding some ippity to your cart then be sure to pick Aletha as your Ippity chick.

Don't forget the groups at The Crafter's Cafe and Facebook where we do lots of wonderful sharing of all kinds of ippity and Unity projects!!

I hope you will stop on over at the GHWI blog and join the fun this month. You have from now until the last day of the month which happens to be July 31st.

Thanks so much for coming by and looking!! I hope you have a fabulous week.

Many Blessings and Hugs,

New Challenge at Get Hippity with Ippity #21

Happy Monday all!! It's time for a new challenge at Get Hippity with Ippity!! This is challenge #21 and our last bimonthly challenge. In June we will be going to one challenge per month!! So you what is the challenge you ask?

The challenge this time is to use flowers and a leaf!! You can create any project that you want to do - card, ATC, LO.  You also don't have to use {ippity} or Unity stamps but your name goes in the drawing twice if you do. The prize is any set of your choice from Aletha's sales blog.  There are so many wonderful sets that my list is still long and I already own lots of them.

Here's my card -

I used two of my favorite {ippity} sets. The first set is the Now and Always which HAS to be one of the most versatile sets I own!!

The second set I used is the Friends + Flowers = Priceless. Yet another favorite!!

All of the papers came from Taylored Expressions May 2011 Key Ingredients Kit!! I am not exaggerating that you can make a TON of projects from each kit. The only extras I usually add is one set of the card stock.  I have been subscribing since February 2011 and have only finished 1 kit and even then had a few pieces parts that I added to my stash!!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges -
One Stitch at a Time - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! May your week be filled with many blessing!!

Sunday Sharing

Hope it's a good Sunday for everybody!! I just wanted to stop by and remind you that we have the Rain or Showers challenge happening at Get Hippity with Ippity!!

While, this card doesn't fit the challenge it is one I created using {ippity} images. You can order all your {ippity} stamps directly from Aletha at her blog. Also if you're over at the Unity site and adding some {impity} images to your cart be sure to pick Aletha as your {ippity} chick.

I usually make the cards for the various birthdays, weddings, etc.. at my school. This week is Administrative Professionals day so I made a few cards!!

I used one of my favorite {ippity} sets for this card - oh wait a minute - they are all my favorites. The set used is Music of My Heart.
All of the papers are from this months Key Ingredients kit at Taylored Expressions. I just love how everything arrives at my doorstep ready for me to create with. There is also a wonderful Inspiration Idea Sheet each month!! I also have to tell you, I make A LOT of cards from each kit. I just finished using my March 2011 kit and that's the only one I've completely used!!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges

Get Hippity With Ippity Challenge #19

If you're looking for my Softpencil Studios post please look here!!

Today I am here to let you know about the newest challenge at Get Hippity with Ippity!! You need to create a project with the theme Rain or Showers. You can make a card, a layout, or ATC whatever you'd like just as long as it has rain or shine incorporated!! You can find all the details and rules for the challenge here.

The prize is a set of your choice from Aletha's sales blog. Have I mentioned that she has AWESOME customer service? Also if you are ordering over at the Unity site and including {ippity} in your order please pick Aletha as your {ippity} chick. (she's in the bottom row)

We've been having quite a mixture of these rain and sunshine here in Ohio so there's been lots of natural inspiration!! Not to mention temperatures up and down, up and down!! :-)

For this challenge I chose the {ippity} set Raining Happy!! This umbrella is adorable and the sentiment is fabulous!! Of course it has to be since it was designed by Tracey Malnofski who is also the artist and owner of the The Stamping Boutique.

Ok on with my card -

This is one of the {ippity} itty bittys.

I've been thinking about using this set for a retirement card but don't know if the person would take it the wrong way. It's not that we're happy they are retiring but that they should be happy retiring. Does that even make sense?

I hope you'll join in the fun. I look forward to seeing your beautiful creations at the GHWI Blog!!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges -
Craft Your Passion - punches and die cuts
Lexi's Creations - punches or dies
Whoopsi Daisy - anything goes
Paper Sundaes -anything goes
Stamptacular Sunday - freeebie - anything goes

Thanks for coming by!! Blessings and Hugs!!

Another piece of my faith journey - Grace

I've been making my morning quiet time a priority with the Lord. It started with me focusing on verses about specific words - grace, strength, surrender, humility...  Now it's more about reading my devotionals, choosing one of the verses and reflecting on that verse. I still have so much to learn!

Everyone once in a while, I skip reflecting on the devotional verse or a verse on my current word. I read the devotional and move on with my day.  Those days always seem the hardest for me. The worst part is that I know it and still do it. I am learning that for me to connect and build my relationship with the Lord I just can't read and think about it. I must actually write about it.

I did do a couple of simple layouts about Grace and what I've learned about it. I used the Faith Goals kit from Faithfully Yours. I really love this kit and the papers because it allows you to combine layouts that focus on journaling as well as those that are more creative. (Hope that makes sense)

For the first layout I just simply used a page from the kit and wrote what I have learned about Grace so far.

Now this one I did in a more traditional scrapbook layout. I focused in on one part of my understanding of grace. Not sure if you can read the journaling so here's what I wrote, "In Grace, God loves me as I am, not as who I want to be, try to be, or hope others see me as and yet He loves me."

The paper is from the Faithfully Yours kit again. The butterfly image and swirls at the bottom of the page are from {ippity} which you can find on Aletha's sales blog.  I also just realized that I have a butterfly which means it meets the requirement of Get Hippity With Ippity Challenge #17 - "Things with Wings" We'd love to have you join us for the challenge!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me share a bit of my journey with you!!

Blessings and Hugs,

Get Hippity with Ippity Challenge #17 - Things with Wings

Welcome to the newest Get Hippity with Ippity Challenge #17.  The theme this time is "Things with Wings." You can use any image that has wings to make your creation!! It can be any type of project - ATC, card, scrapbook LO. The Challenge runs until March 31st.  Also remember you get two entries for using an {ippity} stamp. The prize will be any set from Aletha's blog.

If you find yourself without some {ippity}goodness be sure to stop by Aletha's sales blog and pick yourself up some!! I also wanted to remind you that you can now buy {ippity} through Aletha at the Unity Website. All you have to do is pick Aletha as your Ippity check.  Then you order your {ippity} and add your Unity and you're good to go!!

For this challenge I used the All Things are Beautiful set from {ippity}. The swirl came from the Faith Goals Die Cut set by Faithfully Yours. The inside butterflies are from Unity's October 2011 Faith, Hope, Love..live by it Kit. The sentiment is from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.

I'd also like to invite you to stop by our Get Hippity with Ippity Group at The Crafter's Cafe and join our March card game. You'll have a chance to win a grab bag of 6 stamps!! We've also started a Facebook group as well!!

And you may be asking where might I get some lovely {ippity} images? Well at Aletha's blog of course!!

This month we used a sketch from SplitCoast Stampers.  Remember if you join us for Challenge #16, you can also post it in your gallery at SplitCoast Stampers. Don’t forget to put the “SC349” in your keywords.

Here's my little inspiration piece -

I used one of my favorite and definitely go to sets - Flowers + Friends = Priceless.
I thought it would be fun to make the flowers pop a little so I put some pop dots behind each one. All of the papers came from my scrap stash so I have no idea what company they are from. the sentiment is from My Time Made Easy.

We'd also love to have you join our Get Hippity with Ippity group at The Crafters Cafe  where we have a Card game that gives you another chance to win. We also have a new Facebook group as well.

Ahh...the Weekend is here!!!!

Happy Saturday!! I am so grateful to have a restful day!! Kendra was sick all week and it was quite an emotional week at school. My heart hurts for so many of my students and the situations they must live in.

As you know, I get all my wonderful {Ippity} goodies from Aletha.  BTW - you want to be watching our Get Hippity with Ippity blog next week - new challenge and new release!! It is going to be awesome. I am really excited for my friend Tracey Malnofski (Unity Artista and owner/artist of The Stamping Boutique) because the entire {Ippity} release is her images!!

Anyhow, on to some Happy Birthday cards made with some {Ippity} goodness.

For this first one I used the Sweet on You set. (this one also happens to be drawn by Tracey)

I made this card for one of the teachers at school. This image was perfect because he wears a tie almost every day and most of the men teachers wear polos and such.

The set I used was "The Man"
Remember you can find these and so many more wonderful sets on Aletha's sales blog.

I'd like to enter the following challenges -
Eat, Sleep, Stamp - sketch for the top card (cupcakes birthday card)

Get Hippity With Ippity Challenge #15 - Music

Today starts the new challenge at Get Hippity with Ippity - Challenge #15 - our theme is music.  We figured that Ippity and Unity had lots of great musically themed images it would be a good theme.

Don't forget the AMAZING prize for this challenge is any set of your choice from Aletha's sales blog.  Let me tell you my list grows with each new Ippity release!!!
