Friday is almost here...

Happy almost end of the week!!! Things are finally starting to slow down a bit and get into a routine both at school and home.  I am hoping that means a little more time to get crafty and then share on my blog!

 I just wanted to stop by and share one of the cards I made last weekend!!  I can't remember if I've mentioned this here or not but I've agreed to make the cards for all the birthdays and events at school this year.  This card is for a gal's new house!! 

Do you ever finish up a card and think WOW that's one of my favorites ever?? Well I have to admit I did that with this one. I just love the color combos and the LO turned out well too!! 

I used the papers I received in the Taylored Expressions August 2011 kit. I have to tell you I absolutely LOVE getting these kits because they make combining colors and DP so easy!! The image is from the {ippity}'s Devoted set.  You can see this and lots more wonderful sets of {ippity} images from Aletha's sales blog.

Get Hippity with Ippity Challenge #6

It's time for another fun challenge at Get Hippity with Ippity Challenge. Our Challenge #6 should be easy to enter since our theme is “Buttons or Bows or Bling, Oh My!” You can use as many or few of each item as you'd like on your creation. You just need to have at least ONE of ONE of the products to play. Also remember we love seeing cards, scrapbook pages, ATCs, whatever you enjoy creating.  Be sure to read the challenge rules.  Prize you ask --  you get to pick out an {ippity} set of your choice from Aletha's {ippity} Sales Blog. If you use an {ippity} or Unity stamp, you name is in the drawing twice. How cool is that.  On with my creation.....

I also wanted to let you know that there are 2 groups you should think about joining!! The first one is at The Crafter’s Café, Get Hippity with {ippity}. The second is Aletha's Yahoo group, Get Hippity with {ippity}. These groups are where you can show off your {ippity} or Unity little pieces of art and have some fun. An added advantage is that Aletha announces the next challenge 2 weeks in advance in both groups!! :-)

A little Ippity on a Sunday afternoon....

I have a few Ippity cards that I haven't time found to post so I'm going to work on getting caught up!! I really wish life would slow down so that I could do more crafting and less running around. However, I don't see that happening any time in the near future!!

All papers and ribbons were part of Taylored Expressions March 2011 Key Ingredient kit!! I just love these kits.

It's time for a new challenge at the Get Hippity With Ippity blog!! I'm super excited because it is a sketch challenge which are my favorite types!! It starts today and runs through September 17th because we are going to 2 challenges per month now!!Yippeee!! More chances for you to win some free Ippity goodies!!

Paper Creations Ink Challenge #8

I can't believe I haven't posted in 2 weeks!! But I have to say they have been VERY busy weeks!!! The girls returned to school and I am back to full time teaching. The beginning of the school year is so crazy busy with extra paperwork, getting to know students and just plain getting back in the swing I didn't even get much creative time!! However, I finally did on Saturday so now if I can get some blogging time fit into my schedule I'll have something to share!!!

Anyhow on with the challenge!!! Today starts the 8th challenge at Paper Creations Ink which is to create any project having a distressed or vintage look!! I have to admit this is a really hard style for me!! The challenge runs from today until September 18th at 7pm CST!!!
